Imagine these

"Truths"-

Looking so delicate, if at once we do

Find them visible-

Refracted in splinters, so that

Only a shard at once may catch the light

And throw a beam

Or is it the dark?

Are these tangible nonentities,

In actuality something more concrete

More solid and dependable

Than all those sensations and convictions that we

Build ourselves upon to live?
