As the days turn colder
And the nights get longer
I just can’t stop wondering
Why something seems missing
I am walking on the streets that “we” used to pass
But I can’t even remember who that “we” were

It just all comes as a surprise
And everything’s too sudden
Hard to believe how time flies
As so much things happen
The world keeps moving
But I still can’t find what is missing

Then comes the pieces of flashbacks
Too short and too vague
To mean anything more
Than another locked door
But I know that it is the something I lack
The thing I lost as the days passed by

It just all comes as a surprise
How empty I feel
How everything seems like lies
And nothing seems real
Now I am lost
What am I doing here?

And the world keeps turning around
And everything seems to go in circles
That’s when I suddenly understand
Why I feel so empty

What I am missing
Is me.
