As these tears run down my face
You shield me from this darkened place
Though thoughts of pain run through my veins
You hold me tight and keep me sane

Like diamond's light reflects your love
And tells me there's nothing to be afraid of
My shaking body calms beneath your touch
And my hand feels warm within your clutch

In this place are so many things I dread
You protect me and take my stead
But despite your words of comfort
And love that fills my heart
I'm afraid of one thing
I'm afraid of losing you
