When You Touched My Hair

Maybe I only want you

Because I know we’ll never be

There’s nothing but air between us

But I feel something stronger

Nonetheless, I fight that feeling

And push it deep inside

No one need be hurt

By something as small

As the strand of hair that ties us together

When there’s no us

And together is a word I toss around

Almost as much as loosely love

A/N- I wrote this February second which isn't that long ago but long enough to make it feel like years. Anyway, my favorite line is "As the strand of hair that ties us together" because that's really all it is. A strand of hair. And pretty soon it'll just be a few funny memories... So I wanted to post this before it was too late because, who knows, maybe someone will find this and show to someone else who'll show it someone else who'll show it someone else until HE sees it. Oh g-d. I'm rambling. And he wouldn't care anyway. That's why it's just a strand. If it was anything more, he might have already seen this.

And if anyone asks, tell them I made this all up.

Love,

The Fourth Fate
