Somebody challenges amateur poets in to write a happy poems since most of us wrote angsty ones. So here is mine... it may not sound cheery but tranquil and pleasant.
The Violet
A violet,
Sits and waits,
For the sunrise;
The blue petals,
Cuddles the nectar,
Protected from the night,
Hidden in the dark;
The rays seeps in,
And the heaven showers gently,
Slowly the flower blooms,
Revealing its sweetness,
Unveiling its beauty,
To the beloved bright;
It flies in the form of yellow,
Kissing the weak scent of the core,
It dances with the heart,
And the amourous dew,
Wishing that day never ends…
