I want to spend my last hour

Under the tree

We said was ours.

The branches are all broken now

The leaves have fallen off,

But won't you take me

To the willow tree

We said would ever be ours?

Too many years have passed my way,

So I hear the grandkids say

They whisper in the corners,

That it won't be long, my dear.

So please take my hand,

And lead me down the way,

My love won't you take me,

To the willow tree
