The love of my heart

It burns for two.

And I don’t know which

Way I should turn.

I’m so confused

My head spins so fast.

My heart pounds so harshly

As you come closer to me.

I want so much

But I can have so little.

I’m so selfish for love

Like I’ve been deprived forever.

Will you please listen?

Try to understand.

My emotions are tangled

And split in between.

There is a wedge cutting,

Furiously slicing my heart.

My feelings will be

All alone in the end

Unless I can find

On which surface to stand.

The day that’s arrived

Is the day of pure love.

But how pure can it be

When I love more than one?

It isn’t fair for you two

And it hurts so much.

I would kill my mixed heart

To have just enough.
