blood spreads like a plague on my flesh
these scars a mark of memories
I carve them out with hate and love
with this sliver of truth
tattooed across my body
embedded in my soul
these trails of my tears of flesh
my heart echoes the strain
what's the price of innocence gained
what of honor lost
buried within this rotting womb
its hard to tell it apart
my pain becomes a chaotic dance
my soul its own partner
these steps are riddled with disease
as my breath begins to falter
life becomes like the kisses of a martyr
knowing each moment could be your last
you twirl and spin, lost within the music of deprecating gasps
