Hell's gift to Heaven
Heaven's gift to Hell
She used her wicked innocence
To wrap him in her spell
With a loving sort of hatred
And hateful words of love
She fed his addiction
‘Til too much wasn’t enough
Sweet as poisoned honey
She bewitched him with a smile
Flames of frozen fire
She wove him a web of guile
Her voice the envy of the sirens
Entrancing song of deceit
She makes enticing promises-
Ones she’ll never keep.

Her angelic eyes
Hold countless lies
Concealed by half truths
Playful winks
Hide what she thinks
Her game is to seduce
She tears down his defenses
With her layers of pretenses
She’s an angel in his sight
Nightmare hidden in a dream
Sweet seraph she merely seems
She’s darkness dressed in white

Just smile sweetly
And he’ll forget
All the other girls
He’s ever met
Just whisper softly
Make him believe
In a side of you
He thinks he sees

Her every word
Becomes a blur
Mere memories he holds
Watch his heart
Fall apart
As her deceit unfolds
A heart of cold knowing no light
The truth is killing him tonight
But she couldn’t really care
She’s breaking all her promises
He’s seeing through her flawlessness
What was never really there

But one must recall
She’s plays endless games
Her detatched heartless demeanor
Another masquerade
For she has learned she always must
Hide behind a facade
Showing no emotion
As she sees the pain she’s caused
But in reality
She sees another in his place
Her own heartbroken self
For years before she too was played
She’s Hell’s demon lost in the Heavens
Heaven’s angel lost in Hell
She once held claim to innocence
‘Til to dark she fell.
