Your memory is a delicate storm
Forever raging inside my veins
Of thoughts & questions, left unanswered
& how I long for you oh so dearly
Though vigilantly I shall deny it,
And hopelessly want not to love you
But in truth, deep down, I do need you...
So immeasureably

My prince, do come forward
Out of your feigning shadows
& come back into my life
Tell me you love me
It's always been true
& show me endlessly
I'm the only girl for you
Expose to me, your fragile form
Like when naked winds leave branches torn
& take me far away my dear
I cannot stand to be forlorn

Every particle of your spirit, & soul
Graces mine like untarnished gold
As we dance too solemnly together
Though only in our moonlit dreams
I know you dream we're meant to be
So I've made you weak, do foolish things
You never lost control before me

Darling you always have been there
To calm me gracefully, after the storm
& after our nights across rough terrain
You will comfort me, make love to me
& shall eternally keep me warm
