A/n: This poem was inspired by two things: A very bad break up and the painting called "Memory of Wings" by Amy Brown. When I saw it I sort of felt the grief the faery was feeling from losing something she once had and loved.

Memory of Wings

I’ve seen your face a thousand times,

I’ve kissed your lips a million ways,

But now we’re apart

And my heart breaks.

I’ve held you too many times to count,

I know you inside out,

We were together most days,

But all I have now is memories

Like the faery that sits and remembers

A time when she had wings.

I think this poem is horrible personally, but then again....that's just me! So plz review! I'm really bad at writing poetry and need some feedback to become a better poet.
