CHAPTER 4: INTRODUCING THE NEW KID

Finally class is over…lunchtime. I don’t know how much more boredom I could take. I know my friends are already at lunch since their classes are closer than mine is. I hurry up and rush down the hallway, which really isn’t a good idea since I wasn’t looking where I was going and I bumped into someone and knocked all his papers to the floor.

I apologized and helped pick up the papers, which looked like a class schedule, and some papers that contained lyrics and music notes. I apologized again and he kind of just stared at me before saying anything. “It’s all right.” I looked at him and it was as if I had just stumbled onto some amazing discovery. He was perfect with his curly brown hair and beautiful green eyes. Before he thought I had gone psycho or something I decided to actually speak.

“Are you new here?” He smiled at me a little. His smile was amazing in a way you can say he took my breath away. “Yeah. I just moved from New York City.” So he was a city slicker. “I’ve never been to New York, but anyway let me show you around.” I took a look at his schedule he has 6th period with me. He smiled “Okay if you insist.” I did because I knew he was perfect for the group.
