I'm in love with an angel, so sweet and pure.

When he looks into my eyes, my heart's in a blur.

But when I'm around him, my soul lives in hell...

because his heart belongs to someone else.

He knows that I love him, he once loved me too.

But then our love faded, and I had no clue.

And now I'm imprisoned, in my own little cell...

because his heart belongs to someone else.

He tells me that I am the best friend he's known.

And he says without me, he's competely alone.

But I don't have his love, all I have is myself...

because his heart belongs to someone else.

Well I still have his friendship, I guess that's enough.

But my heart's in agony, so I'll have to act tough.

I'll have to smile, and pretend all is well...

because his heart belongs to someone else.

My mind will lay, forever, in torment and pain.

This constant agony, driving me insane.

But since I cannot tell him, I'll hide in my shell...

because his heart belongs to someone else...
