Incredulity
I listen to you
My son, my child,
Your face in animation
Lit – I almost smile
At my creation,
…….
And my pride,
Rejects the things you speak.
…….
Surely this is not your voice,
You cannot mean what you say:
It must be someone else's words
And someone else's lies.
