Maybe I’d Miss It After All
By: Shima And Tempis
I sneak glances when I’m not sure
Just to seem him looking straight ahead.
If there was a chance that look was pure
He would be with me instead.
He doesn’t have to be this nice,
Or walk with me to class.
He could be cruel or-Jesus Christ-
Let him just be an ass.
But fate tends to laugh at me
When it comes to things like this,
It won’t set my poor heart free
And taunts me with this feeling I won’t miss.
So he’s still perfect, I’m still not
She’s still with him, in the hall
His friendship’s everything I’ve got
Maybe I’d miss this feeling after all.
