I am not a dragon
But beware my fangs
I am not a cat
But watch your back
I am not a vampire
But I can suck the life from you

I'm not alive or dead
I am something most people dread
I don't use ropes or locks or keys
But once I've got you
You're trapped with me

Who am I?
Well I could be
Your worst nightmare
Or your fantasy

I am not a raptor
But I trap my prey
Sometimes I don't seem obvious
But I'm there night and day

I could be the reason
For the greatest day of your life
I could be the reason
For your greatest mistake

I live in dark, cold places
And hide in bright, warm spots
You won't hear me coming
I'm with you in a shot

You can probably guess now
Who or what I am
But just in case you don't realize
I'm not a beast, or demon, or queer
I'm simply deadly, vicious Fear
