When the blue skies turn grey
And the sun is blotted out by the clouds
All light leaves
And gives way to darkness
Which slowly engulfs the world whole
Destroying innocent hearts
And turning lovers astray
This darkness, it's a powerful force
Stronger than any mortal power
And greater than any free will
But, there is a way to rid ourselves
Of this unfortunate befallment
Never give up hope
And pray for the light's return
For when it comes back
The darkness will disperse
And all will be well
Here on Earth
As long as all remember
To beware of the shadows
