You are my
light and eyes.
I see myself young and new
with eyes of a lover
polishing me shiny
filling the cracks
mending the
rips
healing my aches
I stand under a
new sun washed
in
fresh light
reforged under your
gentle hammer
and tempered
like
new steel
hot from the furnace
alive in a shower
of
sparks and white fire
refitted and ready to go.
