Stuck

Trapped within life I stand.

Beyond the key to existence I struggle to survive.

Locked up inside my mind I’m well past reach.

I dwindle in the path a least resistance.

I try to escape but I can’t.

Stuck somewhere between reality and fantasy

I hold on with feeble hands.

A light shines through occasionally but I never reach it.

Falling through a black hole I stand undisturbed.

While falling reality settles in and I shiver with the fact I am stuck.

I fall to my knees then to my face.

Groping around in the darkness

I try to find something to hold onto.

But there is nothing.

Torn, battered, and bruised

I lay in the dark,

stuck.

Trapped within life I stand.

I’m holding on with feeble hands.
