Dancer girl tripped and fell-

Denim knees ripped and tore,

Little palms split and bled.

She sat a moment,

Closed her eyes,

Bit her lip,

And slowly gathered her stuff.

-

And then they came,

The rough tough converse,

and beat up jeans and

Neutral Milk Hotel t-shirt.

The red soft mouth,

Blackbird eyes,

Choppy night hair.

-

Charm boy helped Dancer girl

pick up her notebooks.

He held her hand and smiled sugar,

And quietly they made their way to English class.

-

And now she had someone to dance with,

No matter the number of Envy girls.
