Bleed my desires into moonlight;

Crushed and unbroken like undiscovered death;

No one will see me hide my face in gloom;

Discovery, agony, searching without rest;

Relentless, finding, wherever they are;

Undistinguishable from the rest of the Darkened Ones;

Disappear, mask my pain, cover my pretty scars;

Carve my mind into soft stone, hemorrhaging from its loss;

Bind my anger in chains, meet their stares;

Standing, falling, enveloped in black;

Withdraw into my shaded self, fade away from the glares;

Crying the blood-lust, snarling my name;

Steel about my body, in my eyes;

Screaming, sole defender, weakness in strength;

I am who I am, and who sees the lies?
