She'll remember it all. Everything. All of the pain. All of the tears. All of the blood. It's all imprinted in her memory. Forever. She'll never forget what it felt like, what it TASTED like. It made her who she is. R&R!

Remember The Taste

A single tear

Rolls down her face

She lifts her tongue

She'll remember the taste

Of the pain

And the fear

Of the darkness

All in that tear

She stands up straighter

Straightens her shoulders

The look in her eyes

Is suddenly so much older

Her face goes blank

The little girl is now dead

And a far older woman

Stands in her stead

She walks into the room

Expressionless, she never stops

He reaches out

And the sound pops

But the blood brings no emotion

It's just another taste

Something to remember

Rolling down her face

A/N: Okay, not my usual style. But, hey, it just came to me for some reason. So, what do you think? Review please!

Luv ya,

Tashi :)
