A/N: After quite a long absence, due to work, and school, and other issues, I’m finally posting something again. Too bad I wrote it all the way back in October. I just haven’t had much inspiration at all…Anyway, this is dedicated to my friend Erika, who I love like a sister and wish I could’ve been around to kick a certain bastard’s ass.

Warning: mention of rape.

Downfall

He watches you bleed without a care
You cannot scream, he knows you wouldn’t dare
He defiles you, without a second thought
You’re falling so fast, too late to be caught
The fear keeping you bound
Your raging heartbeat, the only sound

We can see her scars
(Whispering)See her scars…
Although she tries to hide
(Whispering)She’s hiding…

Biting, tearing, clawing, hurting, he leaves his mark
Haunting eyes, disturbingly dark
Her gentle smile hides the truth she’s seen
She’s dying alone, lost without any means
Pushing us away, she’ll keep bending until she breaks
Her light and innocence, we watched him brutally take

Close your eyes and travel far, far away
The haunting memories, you cannot bare to say
What occurred on that dreadful night
Found bloody and broken, and devoid of your innocent light
I’d give anything to save you from that fate
To soothe the seething hate

We can see her scars
(Whispering)See her scars…
Although she tries to hide
(Whispering)She’s hiding…

Biting, tearing, clawing, hurting, he leaves his mark
Haunting eyes, disturbingly dark
Her gentle smile hides the truth she’s seen
She’s dying alone, lost without any means
Pushing us away, she’ll keep bending until she breaks
Her light and innocence, we watched him brutally take

We can see her scars
(Whispering)See her scars…
Although she tries to hide
(Whispering)She’s hiding…
