You can't open up a new door

With open windows that will never close

Living a lie is hard

When the truth is something everyone knows

I jumped into this headfirst

And changed my with life at will

I've done all I can to move forward but I fear I'm standing still

When my heart is at a breaking point

There's only so much I can do

Waiting for a fantasy

That's never coming true

I throw my life away

For the little bit that you give

Time to take these trampled dreams

And again learn how to live
