You cast my heart into splinters

With just one look,

And

When you broke me in a million pieces

Your smile was all it took

To tear my heart free

From it’s binding chains

Ripping it apart easily

Into nothing but pain

While healing my wounds

And

Your smile is made of sun

Piercing into my soul of darkness;

Somehow you’re the only one

Who can bring laughter into this night;

When emptiness holds me close

Your eyes pull me away

Somehow torture becomes my love

When you smile into today

And

Sometimes I think I can’t bear it

Those blue, blue eyes…your smile

Your power, your love

This joy, the agony, these trials

In fire and ice, my unbidden tears;

Call to my sanity, or what you’ve left;

Hear the boundless weeping fears

Ignore my ignorance of what’s best

And

Don’t bother to stop and speak

Just give me what you are able

I only want your smile

Just a story, a tale, a fable

In your crystal eyes;

Don’t say a word

You’ve already spoken

I know all I wanted to know

And I’m already broken

And

Your smile is made of sun

You’re still the only one

Your smile is made of sun.
