His head began to swell
Until his lips were too
Ballooned for speech.
Eyes widened---without
His winding pompous jargon
He was as useful as
A burnt out lightbulb
(As I had known).
His feet lifted from
The sidewalk,
As his inflated noggin
Carried him towards Jupiter.
Flighty pigeons fled
From his massive melon.
Oh irony!
For the huge-headed boy
Had once been the puppeteer;
Today, the winds manipulated his course---
