Creation and Evolution

The Creation vs. Evolution debate is big. At this very moment, there are tons of people getting mad at each other over it. So of course, I’ve taken a side, and I’m here to explain why to anybody who cares enough to listen.

The beginning of life is important because it’s one of the fundamentals of our world. A very simple but powerful logic exists at this level, and it goes like this:

There are only two possibilities, no more, no less. Either something created the universe, or something didn’t.

That’s it.

The Birth of Christianity(Creation)

For centuries, the options were, either something created the universe, or “I don’t like to think about it.” Anyone who truly searched for the truth could find only one answer: the world was created. In ancient times, this was common knowledge. What they disagreed on was who created the world. This is why Christianity was accepted so quickly after Christ’s death and resurrection: it made more sense than any other view of life. Those against it either believed in another god, or didn’t believe anything at all. Since neither stance could defeat Christianity purely through debate, its enemies resorted to violence. Thousands of Christians died for their beliefs, but their devotion caused Christianity to grow faster than Christians could be killed.

Christianity’s advance was finally challenged by the only thing that could oppose it: other Christians. When those in power finally accepted the truth of Christianity, they made a fatal mistake by favoring Christians. Being called a Christian was required, so everybody called themselves a Christian, without actually believing in Christ. Human corruption overtook Christianity, and has tainted it ever since.

Several times throughout history, small groups of Christians have found out what Christianity is supposed to be, and broken off from the existing church. Periods of moral, economical, and scientific prosperity invariably followed, such as the Great Reformation. (It is interesting to note that during the Reformation, the Catholic Church persecuted protestants for their beliefs, forcing them to flee to America and create their own community, based on equality and personal rights, including freedom of beliefs.) The belief that God created an orderly world, and that we are to understand and care for it led to a rebirth of the sciences, and the search for knowledge.

The Birth of Evolution

Ironically, it was these sciences that first suggested the other option stated above: someone didn’t create the universe. This belief claims to have come from the works of a man by the name of Charles Darwin. Darwin became fascinated with the many different types of creatures around him, and in a flash of genius, produced the theory of natural selection. He wrote a book, titled “The Origin of Species” in which he explains how plants and animals adapt to their surroundings, and this may account for the incredible diversity in the world today. The theory of natural selection presented a plausible explanation of how the world has come to have so many different creatures in it, when it may have had fewer different kinds in the past.

Soon after Darwin’s book became famous for its scientific genius, the theory of Evolution was presented. The basis of Evolution is the belief that the universe could have occurred by pure chance alone. What this has to do with Darwin’s book is a well-kept secret: the answer is absolutely nothing. Evolutionists have never found solid proof of their theory: the only reason Evolution exists is as an alternative to Creation. Any logical human being who seeks the truth must either admit that there is a God and try to find Him, or believe in one of several alternatives. Evolution is one, along with the “aliens” theory and the “We are all god” idea.

Since Evolution cannot directly challenge Creation, its supporters simply fight to keep Creation from being presented. Evolution is presented as fact and fed to innocent children in America’s public school system, on the basis that Creation is “religious” and somehow not scientific. Simply refusing to hear out Christianity is not a new idea: it dates way back to ancient Rome. Note that Rome is gone, and Christianity is not.

Evolutionists all say that there is loads of proof of Evolution. Not one has ever given me any. Creation, on the other hand, is proven true by pure logic, as well as much physical evidence that I will include in later chapters.

(Side-note)

The teaching of evolution in public schools is defended regularly by the “separation of church and state” clause. This particular point is too deceitful for me to ignore. “Separation of church and state” is not in any legal document. That’s just a lie. It comes from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson, talking about how the state shouldn’t interfere with the church. It was used to defend Creation years before somebody cut out one phrase and pretended it was a law.

I can honestly say that I have never heard a good argument for Evolution. Have you?
