a/n: lol Truly, when there’s no one to talk to, somehow these words need to be jotted down somewhere, anyway. I just hope they make poetic sense so it qualifies to be posted.

How awful it is to keep on feeling this way
Knowing how much you care about me
Remembering your words of affection;
Your declarations of love
Things you can’t help but share
Despite the circumstances being good or bad
But, that’s what I truly like about you

Listening for your heartbeat
I am lulled with your murmurs
With my head on your chest
And I know without a doubt
You are alive
You can feel

And for someone like you to love someone like me is…
Incomprehensible

I really want to return your feelings
To carve out this hollow heart of mine
And place it in your hands
Yours to dictate as you will
As long as I am wrapped up in your warmth
Because I would love you and be loved by you

But, if such was the case, I would’ve fallen years ago
And this heart still remains hollow
Unyielding as stone to one such as you
Unable to return nonexistent emotions
Ranging so freely in your world
Held fast onto one with hopes and dreams
Hm, I wonder what it is you liked about me in the first place
