Prologue:

The wind blew across the plains of Zore, which was unusual indeed. What was the custom in this barren desert land was scorching heat and unbearable coarse sand. The fact that the wind was blowing at all was what made the man who was standing in the middle of it raise his head with a slight frown on his face. He squinted at his surroundings his dark blue eyes taking everything in from the small cactuses to the large mountain that rose in the distance. He took up his staff, which, he often used to travel across the many lands of his world. He wasn’t an old man, not at all. But he was by far one of the wisest in Zore and the most sought after to murder. Because of everything he knew and even more so because of everything he had accomplished. As he started to trek his way across the desert he heard a voice on the wind, melodic and mysterious yet very familiar. He frowned again as he turned once more from the mountain and headed for the direction of Kinto, the nearest city to the desert.
