There you stood tall & lean

But the voices in your mind were crude & mean

You felt you could never win

Because you couldn't be who you had been

-

Words can't describe the pain you were in

And all they could say was how it was a sin

You wanted an end to your pain in any way

And finally you decided on one on your final day

-

Flooding through were rumors & lies

As we tried to get through our goodbyes

Still there is no answer to our question of why

All we know is you felt you deserved to die

-

Words can't describe the pain you were in

And all they could say was how it was a sin

You wanted an end to your pain in any way

And finally you decided on one on your final day

-

We try to go on

But none of us have forgotten

Some may pretend

But our hearts will never completely mend
