A/N:

Hey, hope you like my story. I'm pretty new to the scene so i have nothing else to say except leave a review if you want another chapter. I want at least five reviews.

Intro: Let Me Introduce Myself

POV: Jodie

Wow, life’s cynical isn’t it? My teachers always told me to observe life from a different point of view than the idiot sitting beside me. Shudder, an idiot who always turned out to be a jock. It doesn’t get worse than that.

Jocks are, according to me, the lowest life forms of earth because they usually turned out to be “players” and “bad-boys.” Me, I never wanted to get involved with them. I’ve seen too many girls get their poor hearts broken over someone who wasn’t worth the time. I tended to lay low and stay unobserved. Why waste my tears?

My high school was Aldridge High, yep, the local private high school, a place where permanent caste systems rule, as hard to change as the social classes found in the Middle Ages, even though we are all in one uniform.

I still think we are in the Middle Ages, all the dark. I can bet a million bucks all high-schoolers are illiterate, sadistic, pitiful little creatures who are in bad need of therapy. Sadly, Mrs. Sheegan, the school counselor is not enough. Ironically, I’m one of the ones that visit her. That’s to be explained all in due time.

Oh, yeah, isn’t it time for introductions? My name’s Jodie, Jodie Peyton, the average, punk-y or weird type of girl most consider beneath them. I didn’t mind, I personally kept it that way. If you ever happen to be in Aldridge, any day, and looked for me…no, I wouldn’t be that twig-like cheerleader.

Her name is Brittany Creelis if you’re wondering. She’s head cheerleader, most popular girl, and yes, we’ll be seeing a lot of her. It seems like she has a personal vendetta against me.

I however, would be the person standing by my locker, the person she was flipping her beach blonde hair at. I swear she dyes it.

Yeah, I was one of those girls you would least expect to just be me. I had reddish-blonde hair, a fit body from track, and was always seen with something blue or black. I was involved in some activities and too many honors classes at school, enough to leave me stressed. I guess you could call me a geek, but I really wasn’t. Oh, I also lived for rock.

Oh, yeah, I was talking about seeing things from a different viewpoint. Instead of fulfilling my teacher’s wishes to see life from a different view than the average “jock,” I ended up seeing the view of a jock.

Wondering how that happened, right? You’re not alone. I’m wondering too. I had just shown my utter disdain for the slime of the earth and now I’m confessing that I’ve actually associated with one. How did I get myself into this one? Well, I guess that’s just the beauty of things.
