Before I was me

Now I am me

Yet I am different

My delicate shell of identity

Has finally begun to crack

I can see the light shine through

And it burns

Who am I?

I no longer know

Before I was safe, protected

Now my protection is gone

And I am alone in the world

What will the future bring?

What will I become?

Noble Ancient?

Raiding Monster?

I only know I must be me

I was round and colorful and safe

Now I am strange and hardened,

clawed and burning

Will I Transform and Transcend?

Or Transform and Descend?

Will I bring Luck or Death to those around me?

Am I Light or Dark? Good or Evil?

Either way, I am Dragon
