Dead Ringer

Prologue

I was lying in a box. It was cramped and hard to breathe. I was lying in a coffin. It was all because hell had tempted me. And I had fallen for the trap. It had tempted me with the person I hated to love and loved to hate. I felt around for any sort of clue. Anything that might help me out of this coffin. All of the sudden I felt a string next to my wrist. After closely examinating the sides and top of the oh-so-lovely coffin I was stuck in I found that there was nothing that could come crashing down on me or dice me into a million pieces by pulling on the string. Therefore, I pulled the string twice. Nothing happened. I began to get nervous. I mean, I was stuck in a coffin and coffins DON’T have ventilation so if I panicked too much I could use up all my air. NOT good. So I pulled the string harder this time. Off in the distance I heard the faintest ringing of a bell. ‘Oh God’ I thought to myself. ‘I’m a dead ringer!’
