Looking Through a Crystal Ball

I've seen it before and I've seen it all

Distorted images both enchanting yet disturbing

Shimmering yet dull

Nothing seems to be real

When you're looking through a crystal ball

Everything inside it looks fascinating yet untouchable

So near yet beyond you reach

Yes that's how I feel

Whenever you're near

It seems like I'm looking through a crystal ball

When you turned and walked away

I sought the answer through the Merlin's crystal ball

Yet I found none

I searched through out the world that I've created in my mind

Yet I never found the answer to my question

In the end, I saw the answer through the eyes of a child

As she held my hand and said,

Letting go is the hardest part of starting all over again

Yes it's better to see the truth with the naked eye

Than looking through a crystal ball
