high hopes--
I'm living on a
prayer
All I wanted was
another glance
So that maybe you'd
see me there
Recognition isn't too
much to ask
From someone so giving;
I'd die right now so
that
You'd realize I was
living.
Let me be your eerie
shadow
That little oddity you
can't replace.
And you can be the grass
stain
On my satin and lace
