Two Cent Bag

Everybody keeps talking

As if they know what’s best.

Mouths never stop moving,

Ears remain closed.

I try to talk to have no one listen.

People keep giving me their two cents.

Now I’ve got a $1.86 in my pocket,

And a bag of bad ideas.
