The lord is my horsey I'll always keep
In green pastures we'll lie to sleep
He'll steadily walk along still waters
He wont shy when he falters
He will know which turn to make
To return home before its too late
Even through the darkest trail
I trust he'll lead me without fail
The leather saddle keeps me near
With the stirrups I stand without fear
He will prepare me for falls
Because he's not too tall
With kisses he will slobber
Without him I'd surely flounder
His canter will remain smooth
When he runs; with him I'll move
All the days of his life
He will be by my side
And in the Lord's stable
I shall always dwell
