Don’t Think I Can Move On

By T (4/10/06)

Ever since you left it seems as if,

The sun don’t want to shine no more.

Ever since you disappeared from here,

It rains a little harder than it's ever rained before.

But I guess that’s what happens when,

Someone like you dies.

I guess that’s what happens when,

I can’t look into your eyes.

Ever since you left it seems as if,

I’m drunk on your memory,

And I can’t begin to move on.

Ever since you disappeared from here,

I spend every waking moment,

Getting over the fact that you’re gone.

But I guess that’s what happens when,

Someone like you dies.

I guess that’s what happens when,

I can’t look into your eyes.

I can’t bring you back,

Bring you back,

No matter how hard I try.

You can’t dry the tears,

Oh dry the bittersweet tears,

That I cry.

But I guess that’s what happens when,

Someone like you dies.

I guess that’s what happens when,

I can’t look into your eyes.

Ever since you left it seems as if,

The sun don’t want to shine no more.

Ever since you disappeared from here,

It rains a little harder than it's ever rained before.

But I guess that’s what happens when,

The one that you love is gone.

Oh, I wish you weren’t gone.

‘Cause I don’t think I can move on.
