ifeel like a child and i pretend,
that if i close my eyes and open them again,
everything bad in my life will be gone,
like in a lulliby or in a song.

overwhelming is a certain pain,
and all it does to me is drain,
when i can't see the road,
and the air turns bitter cold.

the snow turns to slush,
and my footing turns to dust,
where do i turn to,
if i can't turn to you.

when one tear becomes 50 thousand,
and the hill becomes a mountain,
life turns into a metaphor,
i guess that's what life is for.
