Snow
Her reminded her of snow.
Beautiful, pristine, perfect, but cold to the touch. A heart unknown, hidden under the many layers of ice. A façade that she tried so hard to break through, to melt with the heat of her heart. Usually, she failed. And instead of attempting what would be impossible, she mused over the thousands of intricacies of the snow; the heart of ice, his eyes like coals removed from the heat, but with fire still burning within, the smile that she fantasized about, its perfection, the mystique that surrounded it. Was his happiness true or fake? She wanted to pass through all the ice in which he wrapped himself, and peer inside him to make sure that nothing has taken away his heart of ice before she could melt it, before she could unlock its secrets. She would imagine herself looking into his mind, and discovering a sleeping prince, that would destroy the frozen barricade and greet her with warmth and love.
But until then,
She dreamed about her snow.
