Sleep’s Place Has Been Taken By Coheed & Cambria

Instead of sleeping,
I’m up on the computer cranking out crappy poetry.

I should be upstairs.
I should be,
Because I’m tired.
And sleep is my friend.

But I’m not.
I’m still down here
On the computer.

And so what?
So what
If I’m listening to Coheed & Cambria
At 10:40 at night
Writing pointless, pathetic poems
With stupid alliterations?

I mean,
It’s not a school night anyway,
So why should I care?

But…
I’m tired.

Oh.
Well.

"In pieces they stagger embedded
Rush me to the emergency room,"
In the words of Coheed & Cambria.
