Sometimes I look at that
road
to hell
and think
"My gosh, how easy it would be
to just walk that road
to hell."

But even if I donned my
boots
and trudged right down that
dusty road with
promises
of sins and liquor
overflowing
until I passed out,
you'd still be
there
in the dark
hangin' on to my
leash
with the metal studded
hot pink
collar
of mine.

Then I look at that
road
to heaven
and think
"It's a long walk to that there
place
called heaven."

But the white robes I'd wear
would only chafe
my hide
and everything would just be an
act
anyways...and I know
you'd still be
there
in the dark
hangin' on to my
leash
with the metal studded
hot pink
collar
of mine.
