I'm waiting for you here in the shadows, my love
Where are you as I shed my tears, for a terrible loss?
The crescent moon is shining high in the sky
But, here I am, chained to the walls of my heart
Trapped in the darkened maze of my soul
Lost in the dark corridors of my mind
I found out that love equals tragedy
I was a fool for letting you go into danger
I led you to your death, and you didn't survive
I received the news, painfully
I cried over your death for a lifetime
I am dead
To me it feels that way, even though I still live
I'm still waiting for you here in the shadows, my love
I know where you are as I shed my tears
Because you're dead, and I'm left alone in this world
I miss you terribly everyday
And I'll never get over you, my love
In the End, love equals tragedy
