Idiot in Love

What are you so afraid of?
Don't worry about that broken wrist
Don't flinch from the rising fist
Don't let those tears escape your eyes
Don't let him fool you with those beautiful lies

Don't be such a goddamn fool.

What are you so afraid of, little girl?
Let him have his way and he'll leave you alone
Let him bruise you and break the bone
Let him climb on top and show you who's boss
Let him be the bastard and bear his cross

Let him know what you really think of him.

What the hell are you so afraid of?
You knew he was going to be like this
You knew he didn't care about your bliss
You knew they all knew too
You knew when he finally got to you

Why are you so afraid?!
You knew and you let him do it.
It's all your fault so don't throw another fit
Out crawling alongside that bleeding tooth.
The ugly little thing called truth.
