I lie here tonight
On my bed
Unable to sleep
Because I can
Hear a boy crying
On the other side
Of the wall
I want to gently hold him
In my arms
Kiss his trembling lips
And softly
Whisper into his ear
That he's not
Alone in the universe
But right now
I can't
The wall is in the way
I sit up
And silently
Begin to cry for him
