In Your Eyes

- - -

In your eyes, I am invisible,

Just another oblivious girl,

Walking across the streets,

Wrapped in my own world.

Just another person,

Too silent and withdrawn,

In your eyes, I am dismissive,

A rejection of each dawn.

You glance at me as you pass,

Everyday I stand alone,

You label me an outcast,

And watch me talking on the phone.

You think that I am unaware,

Of your secrets and fake lies,

But you don't know, that I am much more,

Than what I seem like in your eyes...
