Boots splash alongside water
Gunfire echoes through the winds
Souls drift away here and there
But the chaos never ends.
When will it end?
The troops will wonder
Will it end?
The troops will ponder.
No one dares to stop firing
Or bashing. Or killing.
Because they know
The other side won't stop the blunder.
The ensuing chaos unfolds
It's a pity, really, a pity.
Because everyone knows
No one really wants to fight.
