Complex

And I seek absolution
For all that I’ve done
The good and the mostly bad parts
I feel like I’m the one
To bring this city back
Back across the fire
To spit in the faces
Of the hateful and the liars,

And I seek absolution,
For the nothing that I do,
The city is crumbling,
And I’m nothing but amused,
And I seek absolution,
What better way to go,
If I don’t look round properly,
Then how will I ever know?
