A/N: I wrote this a while back, and it has since then been published in a private publishing company called "Young Writers".

Wind Child

The clouds turned grey, the wind turned cold

She went away and no one told,

Where she went no one knows

A land of friends or a place of foes?

Slowly she wept as the wind blew

Seeing the red face neither old nor new,

Pain she bears remains a mystery

What ever happened, its history,

She walked for miles never stopping

Her broken heart doesn’t stop throbbing,

As the wind blew towards the east

More pain came to her, to feast,

She walked and walked lonely in her heart

History passes horse and carts,

Her secret lies within her

Her mind twirls like a massive blur,

Back home her family don’t care

Neither do they stop and stare,

To see her walking into the distance

They just carry on with no resistance,

She lay down on the ground

Not making any sound,

The girl that someone knew yesterday

Is not here today,

Only the wind knows

The only family she chose.

Let me know what you think
