One Way Thin
You're dancing at the edge of life,
Throwing up your hair and cutting
It away in strands that fall down
Into the fair of symetrical bulges,
But you shudder and push away,
The seductress that crawls your way,
Tilting head, lost in the normalcy of
The below, edging toward the edge of-
But you hover, this way is lost and
You flutter, plunging in your thoughts
Then a tooth loosens, a nail shatters,
A memory slips away, you're ascending
Far into the heavens, in thankful misery.
